BIANCONI TOURS

About Us

Bianconi Tours

For over a century the Bianconi family has lived on Cayuga Lake, next door to the Aurora Inn. Captain Matt Bianconi is a third generation Auroran, and has been on the lake more than 50 years.

The son of a World War II Navy veteran, Captain Matt inherited his family’s passion for the water and received his boating license at age thirteen. His first power boat was a 10-foot hydroplane hand-built by his brother and dad.

Matt has owned and operated vessels on the Finger Lakes, Great Lakes, and Atlantic Ocean off the Massachusetts coast. However, his heart never left Aurora. He sits on the village board, performs local wedding ceremonies, and welcomes you to join him in this special place that he is proud to call home.

Acquiring his USCG Merchant Mariner Credential as Master in 2017, Captain Matt purchased a 27-foot pontoon boat ‘La Barca Del Vino’ to begin his Cayuga Lake tour business. To meet demand in 2019, a rare 23-foot Chris Craft was added to his collection. In 2021 Bianconi Tours acquired their second, 25-foot pontoon boat and brought on Captains Scott & Mike. As business grew in 2022 a third, 28-foot pontoon boat was added to the fleet, and Captains Matt & Joe joined the crew.

Each boat provides at least six guests and their Captain with the ultimate comfort for a relaxing day on the lake. Double bimini tops provide rain protection and full or partial sun/shade options. Full curtain walls with clear windows are available to provide rain and wind protection, perfect for those cool spring and fall days.
